Tidyup

Privacy policy

Effective 29 October 2026 · Published by OrangePulp Labs

Tidyup works on your phone. There is no account, no sign-in and no Tidyup server. The photos and PDFs you open are never uploaded by us. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google’s ad and billing services collect, explained below.

1. Your files stay on your phone

Tidyup compresses, resizes, converts, merges, splits and scans files entirely on your device. We do not receive, store or see your photos, PDFs or scans. Temporary working files are kept in the app's private storage and deleted automatically after about one day. Anything you choose to save goes to your gallery or Downloads folder, where you control it.

2. Data collected by third-party services

Tidyup is free and shows ads. To do that, and to sell the optional Premium plan, it uses these Google services:

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, using Google's consent message. You can change your choice later from Privacy settings on the Tidyup home screen.

3. Permissions

Tidyup opens your files through Android's own file and photo pickers, so it can only see the files you select.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone ourselves. The only parties that receive data are the Google services listed in section 2.

5. Children

Tidyup is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that age), and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Your choices

7. Retention and deletion

Because Tidyup keeps no account or server-side data about you, there is nothing for us to delete. Data held by Google (such as advertising data) is governed by Google's own policies.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
